this little bird is a christmas tree ornament
from when i was a child
it was with about 5 others
at the top of our tree this year
when i came home today,
it was sitting on the gate on our ground floor windows
i had no idea it was missing
and can't imagine where it was
from the middle of January
(when the tree was thrown out)
until today
