on thursday nights
there is a "fish fry"
in the parking lot
of what turned out to be our favorite restaurant

there are food trucks from various restaurants
(though i didn't see one from the restaurant whose parking lot it was)
and vendors of jewelry, t-shirts, souvenirs, etc
and both locals and tourists attend

oh yes,
there is music as well

we stopped by to check it out,
but went elsewhere to eat
since there were long lines at the best food trucks
and nowhere to really sit & eat
once you got your food
except for these very crowded
(and dirty)
picnic tables
