so many of the paraders
were just people who had grabbed a flag
of whatever island they were representing,
jumped the fence,
and were walking the parade route,
often in the opposite direction of the parade

this young woman fell into that category
but she was so filled with energy
that she actually felt like a part of the parade
she was actively entertaining the crowd.
