husk on the studio floor

i have a fantasy
that i will make paper from corn husks
so i have a collection of them
in a brown paper bag in the studio
here's one that one of the cats liberated
and turned into a toy

i also have a fantasy
that i will make dye
to color paper
from red onion skins and/or avocado pits & peels
so i have BAGS of them in my freezer

it would be funny
if it wasn't so sad

i will be off till next monday...........

i am sleeping over in murcia tonight as it is closer to the airport than cartagena and ours is a really early flight..............
