i have always had a thing for doors that lead nowhere..........

as a kid i remember a building near my maternal mother's house..........it was so tall a building for that time and for spain (six floors..........!!!!)..............

we used to drive past this building whenever we visited grandma...........on the last floor there where no windows...........just a door that opened outwards.........into what i felt like an abyss...............every time we passed by, i used to look up waiting to see a wide open door.............worried that someone might jump out down onto the pavement right the moment we were driving by the side of the building............

i still wonder what the use of this door was..............

the building is still standing firm............abandoned though.....................i do not think it takes long before it is demolished since that area is being gentrified..............
