a little break from the horrors of the state of our union...

we went to a basketball game tonight
it was kind of a win/win situation
we both grew up with the ny knicks
and now our team is the brooklyn nets
so we have a soft spot for both

the game was played at the barclay center,
it's the nets home court
but there were SO many knicks fans there
that the nets got loudly booed in their own house
it was really disturbing.

the nets are in black, the knicks are in white
that's Tosan Evbuomwan taking a shot for the nets.
the knicks were ahead basically the whole game, sometimes up by 12 or more points
but by the end, the nets had caught up
and even passed them for a bit.
the knicks eventually won by 4 points
it was a really exciting game
