today,
on baabar's soul day,
i seem to have chosen not to post him...
and i am not sure why...

but i do know
that i have been dreading today for a while...
dreading the need to acknowledge
that 1 year ago
he was still with us,
when it just feels like so much longer than that

before ava & baabar,
there was oski & smudge
and before them
there was pirondelle & max
each so special to me
