As he stood in total silence, the shell against his ear,
His eyes began to brighten when the voice was fairly clear.
He heard the ocean`s whisper and this is what was told,
She spoke of sealife, the water`s strength and a bit about the cold.
She talked of whales and angelfish and reflecting in the moon,
She told the tale of mermaids dancing on the dunes.
She spoke of giant reefs and swimming turtles of the sea,
And just before it ended she said, "It`s all meant to be".
