from my notebook:
After exploring the interesting bathrooms and tricky vending machines we went to the train station below the airport. 10 minutes into the trip and I already forgot about my luggage and walked 20 feet before remembering to take it with me. Train was good, we saw the urban and rural landscape through opposite windows. It was SOOO green everywhere! SO LUSH, SO PRETTY. From the train I saw a store had a large sign that said "hard off." There were rivers, rice fields, fields, cars, green things. From there we jumped on to a couple of different trains, "awww"ed at school kids, and struggled with dragging our luggage up and down 2 flights of stairs. And then we arrived outside for the first time! and it was as humid and warm as every other inside place/train we went in. From there we walked 50 feet and rode elevators to the 18th floor of a youth hostel.
