Outside the temple I tried to take a picture of a pigeon sitting on a modern clock right next to the pagoda, but it flew away before I could take its picture. Then someone pointed out that there was a statue right behind me of pigeons sitting on... something. A statue! Their rule over the place is so strong that they demanded a statue be made of them. haha. good stuff. well, I thought it was funny at the time. ok?
