aww!

from my notebook:
First floor of Tokyu Hands: party supplies, toys, stuffed animals, and keychains galore! Oh, really soft and squishy Totoros and Rilakkumas! I bought the stuffed panda AD for a green tea drink, instead of the drink itself, for ¥819 (big spender!). hah. OH my god at the other end of that floor was Rilakkuma everything! Zipper pouches! But I figured... not good enough to hold money in (I was hoping to find a good Rilakkuma wallet). Painful to leave all those Rilakkumas. I was persuaded by the group to go to the cash register quickly, but then I saw the cutest keychain EVER. It was a Cupie doll dressed up in an ice cream costume. Awww. ¥700?! no. There were many more dressed in all sorts of costumes. ebi, squid... other things. Oh and then behind them were MORE keychains! But the group didn’t allow me to look at them due to the fact that I would spend hours cooing at them, and some people were hungry and wanted to leave. By then they knew it wasn’t a good idea to expose me to keychains ;P Good work, kids.
7th floor had a wall of cool pens and, hey, a little kaaru plush keychain. haha. [funny because it was just a piece of fabric in the shape of a C]. Then we went back to Shinjuku train station to buy more crepes. I bought cheap inari in a little market in the station. It felt sooo good to sit down. You could easily live in Shinjuku train station. It is like a whole city in there. Crepes, markets, clothing stores, bathrooms, restaurants, stuff, and more bakeries... mole people have got it made.
