Thennnnn we rode the Shinkansen for 45 minutes. Ahh, air conditioning. It didn't feel like we were moving very fast, but I guess that's because the ride was so smooth and there was nothing to look at outside (just a wall and blue sky). Theeeen we transferred to another train and rode that for 45 minutes to Nikko. We passed green forests, rice fields, more fields, rivers, green mountains, and little rural towns. And there was fog floating over the hills and everything. Everything was so lush and beautiful!
