In the morning Jason told us that today (7/7) would be the first time we would experience "hot." So far we had been very lucky with the weather since most of the time it was just cloudy, hot, and humid, but not rooooasting. So everyone dressed lightly and many people left their umbrellas in their rooms. When we reached Nikko it started to sprinkle. Great, Jason! ;p Later in the day the whether took some more unexpected turns... but I'll get to that later.
We waited a while until our bus came rolling around the corner, adorned in "Edo style design." The driver had a wig on, as did all the men at Edo Wonderland... which is where we were going, by the way.
