wall in Shinjuku

After Edo Wonderland we took the bus back to Nikko station where we waited for 20 minutes -- enough time to buy, duh, more ice cream! It seemed odd that the small station had an upstairs, so we went up there to investigate. The second floor had a bunch of big, high quality, rich photos of things in Japan, all of which were entries to a photo contest. They were all so beauuutiful... then we rode the train to another station, where we had more time to browse the kiosks before getting on the Shinkansen. I asked Miwa if I should get the dried squid for ¥100, and she said, "yeah, I'd eat it... if I had beer." haha. So I got the "maple and butter" Pretz instead, which was goood!

We rode the Shinkansen and ended up back in Shinjuku. Martha and Silvia had recently learned that they needed collared shirts for the homestay school. SO we went to the GAP! *vomit* The shirts there cost $40 to $80, so I told them my genius everybody wins plan, which was carried out to completion. Meaning... we traveled down the street looking for clothing stores, and ended up finding a Gap Kids. (1-Martha and Silvia won because they found reasonably priced collared shirts, 2-Kaija won because she wanted to explore Shinjuku, 3-Josh and Daniel won because they expressed indifference, 4-Amanda...? Everybody won!)
