i bought this box in case i needed to pack away this year
i bought this box to keep my dreams from haunting me
no more secret smile when pouring a glass of wine,
no more target to soak up my tears,
no more iredescent splash to keep me company,
no more smells to drive me to distraction,
no more songs to transport me...
i thought i might leave out one perfect thing
to remind me how real it was
