borat
11/17
first movie in brooklyn
(actually, first movie in a long time)
went to cobble hill,
it actually felt like being in a small town in connecticut!!!
the strangest thing was the idea of going to a popular first run movie on a friday night,
this is something i would never attempt to do in the city
the thought of the crowds and the lines are a bit beyond me
and since i am so conditioned to that,
i bought tickets on-line and insisted on getting there 1/2 hour early...
why?
to be second on the ticket holder's line?
the theatre wasn't even sold out
no, this kind of isn't really new york.
and about borat...
unfortunately i've seen a lot of the ali g stuff in its entirety and it is infinitely funnier that way
as usual, hollywood has screwed up a good thing
but i did laugh a lot
