yes this is it
the palette i left behind
it doesn't look like much
but it was everything at that moment.

well,
i am back at my house to do watercolors,
i wasn't that faithful on the trip,
given the circumstances, i cut myself some flack

i actually feel a bit better now
(little do i know that the past 5 hours will be the best i will have for a week)
i suppose going to the doctor
and finding out that i am basically ok
has relieved some of the stress,
i've actually had some soup
and stayed upright since about 1:30 in the afternoon

my doctor concurred that the extreme jolting of new year's day's ride probably knocked the fluid out of the canal of my ear
(for some reason i think of this as being on my right side)
and he says
i will be better by next week
he also says
that in the office he is never wrong,
he is at home,
but not in the office
(little does he know, he is wrong)
