there is a certain peace at night
that i never felt in manhattan
there
that moment when the sun went down
just felt like a temporary lull
a little space between the frenzy of day
and the brightness of night

here
there's a sense of settling down
it's more in synch with the world
in tune with natural cycles and rhythms

i guess that's why i sometimes feel as if i have moved to the country
