there is really no use for it now
and it's so HUGE
buy it's such an icon
of those darkroom years
those hours in the amber light
waiting for exposures,
for the emergence of images
the process had a certain magic then
a certain mystery
and a certain timing
that is completely gone now

gone ? what is gone, by God !!
lots of us are still in those darkroom with the magic of papers we choose, special developers, different films,
soooo good !
but my gralab isn't as "iconic" as yours...
heheee.
i'm much older than you, but at least your gralab is older than mine
quite "iconic" !!!
