there was a beautiful blue sky today
and i knew i had to get to the botanic gardens
i knew the magnolias were starting to bloom
and at least one cherry tree as well

i managed to get there around 4
and spent a very restorative couple of hours
walking and shooting
i have never seen buds like these
of course i should know what this tree is
since they are all tagged
but i didn't even think to look
