i remember making this appointment for her
and asking
if the salon had experience
shaving someone's head
because of hair loss from chemo
and they assured me "yes"
but when risha was in the chair
they seemed to just want to crop her hair
which still would have left her
dealing with falling hair
which was exactly the trauma
we were trying to avoid
there was a huge reluctance
to shave her bald...
eventually they did
but it was a struggle
something else i was trying to avoid
