in addition to losing the computer,
the external drive with my time machine back up also seems to have turned into a brick...

i do have my data stored in the cloud,
but not having a time machine
means having to rebuild the entire machine
which is a real time suck

i have got a copy of ALL my stuff in the cloud...........a copy in one of my desktop computers..........and another copy in two external hard drives................it may sound a bit excessive and obssessive but i am scared to death to lose my things.............
