i brought some of the dregs home;
the bits of bark
and tough parts of the plant
that need to be removed
before beating
if you want to make a beautiful paper

attempting to beat it a bit
on an old cutting board
with a meat pounder
it kind of worked...
at least well enough to form a paper for today
