maybe the first time i have seen this
this summer
a monarch!!!
I have even grown milkweed on the deck
to attract them
but to no avail

this is really sad
and scary for the state of the planet

i took time away from my GOTV work
and took a walk in the Botanic Garden
a much needed reprieve
