when i lived in soho
i was again on the 2nd floor
this time facing west
with a huge parking lot across the street,
even so, it had the minimum amount of light that i could live with

i always knew,
that as soon as there was a building planned for that lot
i would sell
because the loft would become too dark for me

and that's exactly what happened
and here I am again

the impact won't be as dramatic here
but it is a huge loss
and it will cut down enormously on my enjoyment of our deck
