to add the blank:
you get the url for the thumbnail of the "blank".
for us, the white blank is: http://fotola.com/fotola/2007/Feb/museu45cfc228c5973-thumb.jpg
(to do this i went here: http://fotola.com/berylium/museu/?method=showAll, right clicked on the white image and took its url)

then you add an outside link:

for the "link url" i use the page where i am creating the spacer, (in this case: http://fotola.com/berylium/museu/document-museu45d82b8510f26.html
because i don't want it to take you anywhere if you click on it

i leave the caption blank

and use the "blank thumbnail url" for the image link

et voila
a separating space

my question was actually more to do with the linking on the blank thumb. but... if i had thought about it a little harder....

the fact you cannot log in maybe has to do with me here permanetly logged in. i never did this here, so maybe it's not like flog in a way some can be signed up as such simultaneously.
