i knew this was fraying
but even still,
when it broke this morning
part of me wanted to say that was an omen,
as in a bad omen
the reality of course is
that if it had to break, it did so in the best place
right in front of me

(i had both of my bracelets restrung today as well and looked to see if there was something i wanted for my 50th, and while i found 2 wonderful things, 1 of which was truly special i just don't think i see spending that kind of money on jewelry right now)
