i had the honor today of sharing in layney's bday trip to ny

she's a delight,
and seeing bruce is always a treat
but the icing on the cake
was meeting wendy (bruce's wife)

i certainly didn't expect anything less,
but i just have to say
what a lovely, warm & charming lady she is

and this was taken at emergency arts
where we went to see wendy's brother john's paintings
which were filled with color & symbols & power
