corn on the grill
7/12
one of the things i missed most over the past 2 years
was the inspiration to cook
and to make new things
with the help of mario batali's grill book,
i am rockin'
tonite it was a bluefish
(substituted for mackeral)
partially cooked on the grill
finished by pouring a hot oil/vinegar/sugar/onion/thyme mixture over it
this was served on a bed of thinly sliced lemons that had "cooked" in salt/pepper/sugar & olive oil and was tossed with parsley
the corn,
once cooked was dipped in an oil & balsamic mix
then rolled in grated parmesian
and sprinkled with hot peeper flakes mixed with mint
not bad
