so today i made these false backs for my shelves

how to explain this?

i am trying to make my studio feel more like mine
and surprisingly
i am doing that by removing things
starting with the random thoughts paintings

i have chosen to store them in these deep shelves
that aren't working for me
partially because they are so deep

so i figured i'll put in a row of random thoughts paintings
and then put
this false front over them so i can't see them and still have 5" of shelf space left for stuff

so i took old form core
cut it to size
and covered it with different papers
that i have been saving for years
for ...
(if you believe in this sort of thing)
just this project
