i DO have a lot of masks
and they hang,
ready for me to take one,
on my way out the door

the other day
i went for a ride around Prospect Park
i got to the GAP
(my entrance to the park)
and realized i didn't have a mask on -
i think this is the first time
i have forgotten to put one on
in 9 months

i was on a tight schedule
and couldn't afford a 15 min roundtrip home
to retrieve one,
i wasn't going to be going inside
and the park wasn't very crowded
so i decided to continue

now,
it is not horrible to ride with a mask
but it's not fabulous either
(especially on the hills)
so one would have thought
that i might have relished my mistake
and enjoyed the ride
:)
but i felt so guilty
and was so bothered by what people might be thinking
that i suffered
the whole time
