Ida hits NY...flooding

Location: prospect park, brooklyn

9/2

last night we had torrential rains
setting a new hourly record of 3.1 inches
subways were flooded and out of service,
people died,
cars floated 250' from where they were parked
and Prospect Park looked like it was somewhere in New Orleans.

and in the morning it was blue skies
and deliciously cool

that is the ravine that goes all the way to la algameca...............if you look closely you can see the little houses at the end................
