breaking up my protest story
because I can not put my tribute of light pix
on any other day
but 9/11

i might be able to break the tradition of photographing the parade
but not my tradition of photographing the lights

and I take this picture almost every year
and I always say the same thing
it freaks me out when the planes fly right through the lights
it creates a visceral impact in my body
