all week I have been scrambling to prepare for today.
who knew it would be so much work?

we set up a table just down the block from me,
with information for both people at risk of being abducted by ICE and for people who can stand up to ICE when they come into our community

we had whistles (to blast a warning), buttons & stickers
and all manners of printed materials
from 'zines to fliers to posters
that we handed out to neighbors

we were swamped with people
and i was so busy talking
that i didn't remember to take a picture
until the end of the day
when all our material was depleted
