After crossing a street Jason told us to meet him at the end of a long line of shops in "a few minutes." The shops were filled with deer toys, keychains, food, more toys, etc. We definitely spent more than a few minutes in those stores. At the end of the line of shops was a little ice cream vendor where all ice cream and popsicles were ¥110!! YES beat that, ¥250 and ¥300 ice cream!! delicious. The ice cream was in a plastic cup and when I took it out to eat the cone all the deer swarmed around me and wouldn't stop trying to eat my hands until I ate them myself. No wonder it was in plastic!
There was one man who gave me a deer cracker to give to the deer, which was so nice! So I got to feed and pet them. Life was complete. One deer followed a lady a very long distance and even walked up and down 2 sets of steep stairs thinking that she had food to give it. Aw, persistence.
