After spending quite a while in Nagoya Station we took a train to our different host cities. Us Gunn kids got off at Shiojiri Station, where our host families picked (most of?) us up. I met Mai and learned that she did not know any English. But that wasn't a problem because I can speak enough Japanese to... speak Japanese. ;p

Her house is a billion miles from the station so there was a lot of time to admire the beautiful landscape through the car window. The town is surrounded by lush, green hills on all sides. Hounto ni utsukushii ne.
