I went to school with Mai tired because we had stayed up late watching Star Wars... or maybe that was the next night. Anyway, Star Wars was very funny in Japanese! Oh, C3PO...
All of Mai's friend were tired, too. Sleeping in class was perfectly acceptable.
Everyone thought it was really hot, but I thought the weather was perfect! They all had their own Disney fans and aerosol skin cooling agents.
Oh yeah, now I remember what we watched the first night. We watched a show that reenacted the daily lives of people with weird conflicts, and then the host offered the people products that would have prevented the conflicts from happening in the first place. For example, one lady had to keep hiding a bundle of money in various parts of the house so that her husband wouldn't find it. Yeah... The solution was to get a safe. Another woman had like 12 children and it was too much for her to handle, so the solution was to buy a giant rice cooker.
