this was in my studio
it originally came from the apartment i grew up in
where it was actually the master bathroom window

the house is from the same era as that apartment
(late 1800"s)
so it's a good fit.

traditionally in brownstones, the skylight at the top of the stairs is stained glass,
but the one in the house must have already been replaced

this is now in the wall between the closet and the hallway
it's just below the skylight
so it's a nice reference
to what might have been there
