i don't boil the brussel sprouts first
just toss them in garlic, oil, salt & pepper
then put them on a sheet pan
in the oven at about 400
until they are tender
(but not too tender)
and crispy on the outside

they look so so so so delicious.............and easy to cook............brussel sprouts are one of my all-time favourites........
